I finally got my BIG BREAK, my first chance at a record deal. Well not really, but kind of. I am going to be featured on Kyle Blake's New Album singing background vocals at least! Hey, I'll take what I can get. Me and a few other guy's, Brad Sarver, Paul Kolarik and Ryan Gray will be singing one liners in the background of the New song "Parking Lot" so listen carefully. As you can see in the video, I am really quite into this. But why wouldn't I be Its not everyday they actually give me a mic.

Josh and Colleen Get Engaged!!

After being out of town on a shoot in Denver, I decided to come home with a ring and proposed to my wonderful girlfriend. I had my whole Southwest flight crew in on it! Fill The Well 2008

This past weekend we celebrated the second annual Fill The Well. Their vision is this:
"To celebrate our own culture through the arts, aiming to raise money to support a reputable cause in giving of the proceeds to specific projects in third world countries. While setting in our own community, a vision of being pro-actively involved of giving of ourselves to benefit the lives of others".

Art Nights... Encouraging Creativity!

As of late I have been attending what some call "Art Night", many of us gather Wednesday nights in a garage where the only rules are...well there are no rules. Except of course that in some way, shape or form you must express your creativity on that particular day. May it be drawing, writing, sculpting, dancing and yes even hair cutting! After several not so productive nights at art night, I decided to bring the ole' camera and see if could have some fun with the concept of the "off camera strobe"... It is already May 1st and my life as a student athlete at the University of Kansas is winding down. For the past five years I have been traveling around the country competing in track and field for the Jayhawks. It has been an experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. What a year it has been to be a Jayhawk, we won the BCS Orange Bowl as well as a National Championship in basketball. We are here in Fayetteville, Arkansas for what will be the last track meet of the regular season, before heading to Boulder, Colorado for the Big 12 Championships. I am trying to take it all in, and make the best of these opportunities because time is fleeting. Sometime in the not so distant future I will be saying.... "back when i was in college". That is a scary thought but I am thankful for the opportunities God has blessed me with and look forward to future endeavors. Thanks for checking out my site!!
